Will suggest checking out the website RecallAlarm.com along with the iphone and android app with the same name.

What differentiates RecallAlarm from its competitors is that the consumers can expect to get alerts. when their own products are recalled versus specifying a brand or category of products.

Unique feature of the app is that the consumers can scan the UPC barcode of the product at the time of purchase or later and save in watch list, Recall Alarms proprietary logic scan the existing recalls and right away alert the users if there are recalls for the product.

Off course, you have the peace of mind that Recall Alarm is continuously monitoring your products in the watch list and will alert you, if any of your products are recalled in future

Some of the other helpful features are custom tags e.g. Automobiles, Toys, Appliances etc.
