Skire was founded in 2000 and offers cloud-based and on-premise software aimed at managing large construction projects and multiple facilities. Oracle will combine the software with a similar product called Primavera, which it acquired in a 2008 deal. Those deals followed larger acquisitions of cloud-based companies RightNow technologies in October and Dublin-based Taleo in February, acquisitions that led to last month’s launch of Oracle Public Cloud.
