Perhaps the best use of Abby OCR is performed by UiPath tool (www.uipath.com) and ABBY is doing what RPA doesn’t do normally: work with images. Incorporation of this OCR tool is facilitating automating data from scanned documents so for RPA developers is a pretty compelling advantage.

It’s wonderful to be able to access Abbyy OCR technology from within the platform to automate business processes. At CiGen we are using this on PDF invoices and documents of any sort. Very good information for anyone interested in ML-assisted RPA.
