    I am curious why in your definition of an insight it must lead to an action plan? That seems to imply that the identification of a true cause and effect relationship is not valuable in and of itself. Even if one cannot immediately formulate an action plan based on an insight, it would seem to me that the insight is still valuable, a new piece of knowledge. Anyhow, this is more of a quibble on my part. Thank you for stimulating some interesting thinking on my part.

    There are many interesting relations that can be obtained from the analysis of models derived from a body of data. I chose to define insight in this way because I believe insight should have a purpose and thus a plan of actions
