I’ve just spent the last few days of my life with MongoDB, and I have to say I am incredibly impressed by it. It seems no doubt to me that they are worth future financial investment.

Apart from anything else, the real-time EDW set that I was working through MongoDB shows up its weaknesses for analytics and aggregations. The lack of a columnar store and a parallel query engine are elements which can be programmed into MongoDB with a decent amount of funding and would make it even more interesting.

    Good luck to them.
